User Agreement

Welcome to HKNepal.com, First Nepali Internet Magazine in Hong Kong.
 

The following agreement spells out the rules by which users of HKNepal.com are expected to abide when contributing content to HKNepal.com. This content includes but isn't limited to: story comments; forum postings; blog comments; and images. By contributing your content to HKNepal.com, you agree to abide by the terms of this agreement.
 

HKNepal.com's user-contributed content is intended as a medium for sharing content and fostering public discussion, and as such, HKNepal.com is open continuously for contribution of that content. Because of this volume of information, HKNepal.com can't verify every piece of user-contributed content.
 

We don't vouch for or guarantee the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any user-contributed content, and we aren't responsible for its contents. Users should be extra cautious of medical, legal or other professional advice presented by other users.

 

Usage

• Reader comments are the sole responsibility of the person posting them.

• You agree not to post content that is knowingly false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violates any United States laws.

• You agree not to post personal attacks on anyone, including but not limited to other users and the employees of HKNepal.com,

• You agree not to post content that in our opinion fosters or promotes illegal activity.

• You agree not to impersonate someone with the intent to present false or misleading information or to cause harm to this person's reputation.

• You agree not to post any copyrighted content unless you own the copyright or it is owned by HKNeapl.com.

 • You agree not to post spam. Spam includes, but isn't limited to: advertisements; chain letters; pyramid schemes; solicitations; messages intended to promote a cause, venture, organization, event, Web site, or other entity or activity, whether or not money is involved (excepting HKNepal.com-related events). We do allow exceptions for worthy causes (subject to our opinion) if you obtain prior permission from us. To clarify: We don't mind you providing links to other Web sites, but please don't use HKNepal.com as an advertising bulletin board. If your content starts sounding like one of those e-mails nobody likes receiving, it's a good bet we won't allow it.

• You agree not to post: the same or similar content to multiple pages; multiple content postings on the same topic; or an excessive number of content postings on any topic within a short period of time.

• You agree to abide by HKNeapl.com's enforcement of these rules. Refusal to cooperate will result in revocation of your content posting privileges.

Any user who feels posted content is objectionable should notify HKNepal.com.

Please note that with each content posting, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this site or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement. Also note that the software places a cookie, a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser's cache. This is ONLY used to keep you logged in/out. The software does not collect or send any other form of information to your computer.

We reserve the right to delete any user-contributed content for any or no reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages.

We reserve the right to notify the Internet service provider of any party posting objectionable content.
